EXHIBITORS GEAR UP FOR A SUCCESSFUL PRINTEX 2007 - 13 July 2006
Exhibitors at PrintEx07 are preparing to showcase the latest innovations for the printing and graphics industries, when this unique ‘shell-scheme’ only exhibition takes place, 24-26 May 2007 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour.
With over 90 per cent of exhibition space already allocated and an impressive line-up of exhibitors including leading suppliers DES, Konica Minolta, Kodak, Epson and Heidelberg, PrintEx07 is now cemented as a ‘must-attend’ event on the industry’s calendar.
PrintEx07 Chairman, Grant Churchill, says suppliers are keen to be part of PrintEx, which fills an important gap in a constantly developing market.
“Taking place in Sydney every four years, exactly half way between editions of Melbourne-based Pacprint, PrintEx provides an ideal avenue for buyers and exhibitors to discuss the latest technology and product upgrades for the printing and graphics industries,” said Churchill.
International print media supplier Heidelberg is one of many supporters of PrintEx who will showcase their latest products at next year’s exhibition.
"Visitors can expect to see a number of innovations from the world’s leading provider to the print media industry, including a number of ‘firsts’ destined to become the talk of the show. Innovative solutions for small format printers will be the theme of Heidelberg’s 180 square metre stand at PrintEx07,” said Melanie Dooley, Marketing Coordinator, Heidelberg Australia.
Also on display will be proofing and prepress workflow achievers, DES, who are keen to reveal their recent achievements at PrintEx07.
“PrintEx07 has the potential to be a landmark event for DES. We are looking forward to putting our achievements in the spotlight and showing the industry what we have established. DES has developed an excellent brand portfolio, and we can back it up with the staff, technical support, training and consulting people really need,” said Ian Clare, Managing Director, DES.
Mailing, printing and packaging experts Advance Machine Technology (AMT) will showcase the newest innovations in the Axode camera-based systems designed to minimise cost and error and improve productivity in the crucial production process.
"As the industry moves ahead with rapid advancement, there is an increasing demand on cost effective productivity throughputs. AMT as a supply partner to the industry has focused on how best to meet these demands. The Axode camera systems ensure quality control and data integrity throughout the production process, preventing costly re-prints and re-runs," said George Karzon, Director, AMT.
PrintEx07 will take place in Halls 4, 5 & 6, Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour from Thursday 24 May to Saturday 26 May 2007. The exhibition is presented by Graphic Arts Merchants Association of Australia (GAMAA) and the Printing Industries Association of Australia (PIAA).
